SHOPPERS are “demolishing” giant boxes of Cadbury Flake where they cost just 48p each.
A savvy shopper went online to share his find with like-minded bargain hunters on a Facebook group.

Along with a picture of the huge box, they wrote: “Don’t know who needs this many flakes. £6.99 Farmfoods 144 flakes.”
At that price each flake costs just 48p each.
Clearly from the more than 200 comments the post has generated, many people could do with that many flakes.
Referring to the packaging on the box which said: “For ice cream and culinary use” one person jokingly posted: “Rude to assume they put for ice cream use, I could single handily eat 144 flakes.”

Another choccy fan added: “More the merrier, any decent person can manoeuvre their way through a box of those within a time scale of less than half an hour. Best chocolate treat ever created by far.”
While a third wrote: “I could demolish this box easy!”
Many others tagged in a friend and said they needed to get down to Farmfoods as soon as possible.
SMALLER SIZE THAN REGULAR BARS
However some people warned others that the flakes inside the box were smaller than the regular version.

One commentator said: “I’ve bought these they are extremely small. In some packets the flakes were half the size they should be. More like a splinter.”
Although one person replied: “They are a catering pack intended to be used in ice cream cones.”
Other choco-holics though weren’t put off, with one saying: “chocolate is chocolate even if it’s broken.”
Apart from the huge box of flakes, currently Asda, Morrisons and Tesco are all selling a multipack of four flakes for £1.65, according to Trolley.co.uk.
Sainsbury’s is also matching that with its Nectar price, otherwise it is 20p more expensive.
Anyone not wanting to be quite that indulgent, Sainsbury’s is also selling a single, seemingly larger, Cadbury flake for 75p.
It comes after another sweet-toothed shopper spotted a chocolate deal in Home Bargains that was too good to miss, so they emptied the shelves.
Previously, chocolate lovers were also going mad over B&M’s new “bake at home” Easter eggs.
At the end of last month, bargain hunters with a sweet tooth were getting excited about “party size” bags of M&M’s which were heavily reduced.
