Pokémon is adding a new super strong ‘mon to the game – but it’s only for a limited time

POKÉMON adds new ‘mons to Scarlet & Violet every so often, and a new strong beast is coming for a limited time.

Available as part of seven-star Raids, players will need good strategy if they want to catch one.

Empoleon will be the next target of seven-star raids, and will come with the Ice Tera type.

This Generation 4 starter is an incredible Special Attack stat meaning that it will be difficult to counter.

It also comes with the ability Competitive, so the usual strategies of dropping stats won’t work here.

While you can drop Empoleon’s stats, doing so will increase its Special Attack making it very dangerous.

Empoleon will only be available for a limited time, and players only have two weekends where they can catch one.

After this, the special Pokémon will be gone for good, so make sure you are ready to catch yours when it is available.

Empoleon will be available for the first weekend from Friday, February 2, 2024, until Sunday, February 4, 2024.

It will be back for another weekend, from Friday, February 9, 2024, until Sunday, February 11, 2024.

If you want to capture your own Empoleon, you will need to prepare a Pokémon to take it down.

This will be a difficult battle with Competitive boosts from Empoleon, and you will need something that is trained correctly so you can take it out.
