The beloved bars are scanning for just 49p in some Farm Foods stores and shoppers can’t contain their excitement.

Many are clearly making the most of the opportunity and buying in bulk as they took to hotukdeals to share their comments.

The bars are being sold at the discount price in Farmfoods in Acomb and also, according to one commenter on the deals advertising site, at Farmfoods, Preston.

One person wrote: “Managed to bag 5 boxes from Farmfoods Preston on Strand Road. Thank you for the heads up.”

Another added: “National deal I reckon. Just stocked up 36 cheesecake at 29p and 40 peanut at 49p, enough to use a discount coupon, works out at just under 37p a bar!

A third couldn’t believe the offer writing: “Grenade bar usually £2.80 a bar down to 49p farm foods.”

Grenade protein bars launched in 2010 and has taken the fitness industry by storm.

The bars come in many flavours including Birthday Cake, Chocolate Chip, Cookie Dough Chocolate and many more.

This isn’t the only deal that has shoppers jumping up and down with excitement lately.

Just days ago one happy shopper discovered Cadbury Creme Eggs selling for 15p at Boots.

Tracey Young revealed that she found the treasured egg in Boots Eastgate, in Bristol.

She posted her astounding find to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

“Not many left but maybe other stores as not in the clearance bit.”

Creme Eggs usually sell for four times the price at the large retail chains, selling for 60p at ASDA, 65p at Iceland, and 70p at Sainsbury’s.
