A bargain hunter hit the snack jackpot after spotting a box of 15 Walkers crisps bags for just £5 at Heron Foods.

The multipack boxes included 72g bags of the popular Squares in cheese and onion flavour.

The shopper, who shared the money-saving find on Facebook, said: “Good deal at Heron Foods, normal price for 15 rrp 18.75 for the box on sale £5.”

The snacks have a best before date in February this year, so there’s still time to munch your way through the lot before their expiry date.

Many were left stunned by the deal and said they were rushing to their nearest store to snap up theirs.

It comes as Walkers fans were left devastated as the crisps giant confirmed a beloved flavour won’t be seen on shelves ever again.

The snack maker apologised to a Walkers lover who said she could not find her favourite Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps anywhere.

It came just days after Walkers axed another crisp flavour from shelves “with no notice”.

The company has told customers that it’s no longer making a favourite Quavers flavour that only returned two years ago.

Elsewhere, one woman was left delighted when she popped to her local Heron Foods for the first time and found some epic bargains.

Meanwhile, shoppers were going crazy for a giant box of a classic party snack which was spotted on shop shelves for a bargain price.

The budget retailer is selling a giant yard-size box of Fox’s Party rings for just 99p.
