CHRISTMAS might be nearly behind us but that brings with it the chance to snap up some bargain mince pies and chocolates.

One major retailer has dropped prices on its festive pastries and Celebrations by up to 50%.

Ocado shoppers can pick up a 600g tub of Celebrations for £2.75, down from £5.50, beating a number of other retailers.

The next cheapest chain is Morrisons, which is selling the same-size tub for £5, then Sainsbury’s which has it in stock for £5.50.

Meanwhile, M&S basic all butter mince pies are on sale on Ocado for £1.25 instead of £2.50.

Iceland is selling a basic six-pack for £1.25, but they’re not all butter.

Ocado has also reduced a number of other mince pies, including puff pastry and frangipane, by up to 50% as well.

Shoppers can get discounts on vegan and organic varieties too.

Morrisons and Ocado are next cheapest where they are £5, while Sainsbury’s and Iceland are both selling the tubs for £5.50.

Iceland shoppers can snap up two boxes for £9 – £4.50 each – if they are looking to stock up ahead of next Christmas.

Meanwhile, 550g boxes of Roses are £5 at Morrisons and Ocado – the cheapest we found them.

Sainsbury’s is selling them for 50p more – £5.50.
