Jannie found her side-hustle in decorating Christmas trees for other people – and earns around £2,000 every festive season.

The 30-year-old, who also runs her own gift store, started the service after receiving compliments from friends and family about her own impressive Christmas tree decorations.

The talented designer told the Mirror: “I’ve always loved interior design and decorating my own house.

“All my friends said I should do it as a service – and I never looked back.”

Jannie first started her unique gig last year after she received an overwhelming response on her Facebook post describing the service – and made £300 in profits.

Aiming do earn more, the designer upped her prices and started taking bookings in July, which began as early as November 6.

This year, she was fully booked with 27 clients desperate for her services starting from £40 for a 7ft tree.

Janine has different design plans and her charges depend on how elaborate customers want the design to be.

She ups the price if the client needs her to assemble it and string up the lights.

The talented artists says she received no formal training for her services, but she relies on the internet for inspiration.

“Im very fussy – if I don’t think it looks right, I’ll move things around. Every tree I do needs to look perfect. I’ve already got people asking when I open my books for next year,” she told the online publication.

“The extra cash will help out loads – it will cover the cost of Christmas this year.

“I love doing it as well – I get a little kick out of it when people compliment my work.”
