The chances of finding two identical snowflakes are rare, but a Christmas brainteaser asks you to do it in 30 seconds.

An image shows 25 snowflakes against a blue background, and while they are six-sided, hexagon shapes, only two are the same.

But to make things trickery, each snowflake is white – making them appear more similar than not.

Scientists have shown that people who can quickly match objects have better concentration and visual memory.

Scroll down to see the matched snowflakes – but no cheating!

The brain is a wonderful and weird organ that still baffles scientists to this day.

When you look at the image filled with whimsical snowflakes, your brain breaks down each one individually, comparing the properties and then putting them back together.

However, sometimes the brain sees what it wants to – and has likely determined no matching snowflakes in the image.

But focusing on each one individual, you will see the middle snowflake in the bottom row and the last one to the right in the second from the top row are the same.

Pictured are the matching snowflakes. Did you find them in under 30 seconds?
