According to Lifewire, deregistering your Amazon Fire TV Stick helps if it will no longer connect to the server.
It’s also said to be useful if you’re struggling to return to the homepage on your device.
To deregister your Fire Stick, go to the Settings app.
Then, click on My Account and Amazon account.
Scroll until you find the Deregister option and click on it.
You’ll then be taken through several steps so you can confirm your choice.
After you’ve deregistered, you’ll no longer be logged in.
