HOME Bargains shoppers looking to snap up some steals this Christmas period will be keen to know the retailer’s opening hours.

Three bank holiday dates land in December and January and shops are running different opening hours.

Home Bargains is a chain of discount stores across the UK, operating over 500 branches and employing more than 22,000 people.

Here’s everything you need to know about when its stores are opening and closing over the Christmas holidays.

What are Home Bargains opening times over the Christmas Bank Holiday?

Most stores open between 8am on weekdays and from 11am on Saturdays and Sundays.

During bank holidays, however, opening hours can change from normal.

To avoid disappointment, use the retailer’s store locator to find out what time your local branch is opening and closing in December and early January.

The store locator is usually updated to include special opening times for any bank holidays.

For example, Home Bargains in Orpington, Kent, is closed on Boxing Day, and operating reduced opening hours on December 27.

Meanwhile, the store in Riverside Retail Park, Nottingham, is also closed on Boxing Day and running reduced opening hours on December 27.

Which shops are closed over the Christmas Bank Holiday?

Retailers’ opening hours will vary over the Christmas Bank Holiday, but the vast majority will be open as usual.

Most supermarkets and large high street chains have store locators on their website which you can use to find the opening hours for your nearest branch.

In most cases, you just have to enter your postcode into the search bar and it will tell you what time that store is open and closed.

Meanwhile, you can expect banks to stay shut and there likely won’t be any post or deliveries.
