CALL of Duty has just released its new entry, but the full game is pretty pricey.

In a year of amazing releases, we’ve had a hard time balancing our budgets, but this new deal will really help out.

Activision Blizzard is allowing everyone to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 this weekend absolutely free.

The game’s multiplayer, including the new map ‘Meat’, is available for everyone to play for free this weekend.

CoD: MW3 was criticised at launch for having a short single-player campaign and for recycling maps from Modern Warfare 2.

However, as many players have migrated to the new title, it’s becoming easier to matchmake in MW3.

More in Call of Duty

The Call of Duty unlimited trial will be available from Thursday, December 14, 2023, until Monday, December 18, 2023.

During this time players can play as much Call of Duty as they like, with no limit on their play time.

The free period includes a number of modes, such as Zombie, War Mode, 6v6 Core Maps, Ground War Maps, Core Modes, and Playlists.

It does not include the single-player campaign, though players have criticised this for being the weakest part of the game.

The new map ‘Meat’ is located in a slaughterhouse and gives players the opportunity to show off their skills at close quarters.

CoD:MW3’s free weekend is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Progress will carry over if you purchase the game, so it could be a good time to jump in to see if you like it.
