Toyota will introduce six electric vehicles in Europe by 2026, it announced this week. 

That will include a production version of two concept cars — a compact urban SUV next year and a sport crossover in 2025.

Toyota is also planning to introduce the first cars with new and more efficient ‘solid state’ batteries from 2027-28 which can recharge to 80 per cent in just ten minutes.
