DECEMBER is well underway and Christmas is just around the corner but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to get your hands on one festive essential… advent calendars.

You might be surprised to learn some of the best deals on advent calendars happen after December 1 and every supermarket is getting involved even Ocado.

The posh supermarket has slashed the prices of its advent calendars online including, Lindt, Cadbury and Maltesers.

The Cadbury dairy milk chocolate advent calendar is now half-price on the Ocado site at £1 instead of £2.

One shopper said: “Good value when on offer.”

You can also nab the Maltesers reindeer chocolate Christmas advent calendar for £1.75 instead of the retailer’s price of £3.50.

One reviewer said: “This is probably the favourite advent calendar in our house! We are Malteser fiends!”

If you have a bit more to spend you could go for one of the luxury chocolate advent calendars which have also seen price reductions. 

The £7 Lindt advent calendar is down to just £3.50 on Ocado and shoppers say it’s “lovely”.

One reviewer said: “Buy every year and it’s just perfect.”

Celebrations fans will be pleased to know that the Celebrations chocolate advent calendar is down to £4 on Ocado from £8. 

Inside you’ll find all your favourite mini chocolates: Snickers, Mars, Twix, Bounty, Galaxy, Maltesers Teasers, MilkyWay, and Galaxy Caramel.

Ocado isn’t the only supermarket to slash the prices of their advent calendars. 

Shoppers have been flocking to Asda where prices for advent calendars have gone down to as little as 93p. 

The news went viral on Facebook after a shopper shared snaps of the mountains of advent calendars the retailer still had in stock.

B&M has bargain calendars in-store with prices starting from £1.

Iceland has prices starting from 62p and a 340g Cadbury Dairy Milk Advent Calendar down to £3.50 from £7.

We recommend you act quickly with these deals as they will only be available for as long as stock lasts. 

Ocado doesn’t have any physical stores either so you will need to factor in a delivery charge. 

It may be cheaper the add one of the calendars in with a weekly shop.

There is a chance retailers will reduce the price of their advent calendars further so make sure you keep an eye out.
