SAMSUNG phone owners have stumbled across an “amazing” little-known perk that gives them up to a year of free access to Disney+.

It seems many people are unaware that the smartphone maker offers a so-called Boost with every purchase – and it’s not just for devices bought very recently either.

Better still, it’s eligible for new, returning and existing Disney+ subscribers, though you’ll have to follow some instructions below if you’ve already got Disney+ to benefit.

The perk provides you with either 12 months or six months access to the popular streaming service’s standard tier, which normally costs £7.99 per month.

And it’s not just if you’ve bought a Samsung phone – certain Samsung tablets and laptops can take it up too.

“Firstly, I don’t think this will work for everyone… but it worked for me, and I’m sure it’ll work for others,” a bargain hunter explained on HotUKDeals.

“I have an S22 Ultra that I received on the day it was released and I have already claimed my year of Disney+ and it has expired a while back.

“However, by following that link above it has generated a new code and given me another year of Disney+ for free!”

There has been a huge scramble for codes since the money-saving hack was noticed, so much so the site has apparently been hit and miss.

But some have had their Samsung devices for a while now and they’re still eligible.

According to the terms and conditions, only certain Samsung devices are eligible for the giveaway.

These are:

  • Galaxy S22

To claim yours, you will have to register for a Samsung account if you don’t have one already and check this page on your Samsung device.

If you’re already subscribed to Disney+, you’ll have to cancel your existing subscription for the code to be accepted.

Once you’ve cancelled, go back to the sign up flow with the same email address you used previously.
