Pepsi launched Ginger flavoured in the UK six years ago as part of its festive-inspired lineup.

The popular drink contained “natural ginger flavouring” and it came on different shelf variants – including 330ml can single and multipack, and 500ml, 600ml, 1.5 litre and 2 litre PET bottles.

But the frizzy beverage is not returning this Christmas – leaving customers fuming.

A spokesperson took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to confirm that it had been discontinued.

With Christmas only a few weeks away, other begged the food giant to bring back the fizzy drink.

Someone blasted: “OMG I just realised that cos it’s nearly Xmas there should be ginger Pepsi max in the supermarkets again, please don’t have discontinued it.”

A spokesperson added: “Maybe you could try our new Pepsi Max Mango.”

The Pepsi MAX Mango is the latest fizzy drink addition and fans can grab one at their nearest supermarket.

The beverage was described by manufacturers as “the brand’s best ever” new summer flavour.

Although it was initially only exclusive to Tesco, the sugar-free drink is now available for shoppers in supermarkets nationwide.

There are currently more than eight Pepsi flavours – including different ranges of diet, caffeine free and original.

The latest variety joins the previously launched Raspberry, Cherry and Lime fruity line.

Pepsi previously brought out a new festive flavour last Christmas to celebrate the last football World Cup.

The limited edition was made of a festive flavour colloquially used to describe football‘s “craftiest skill”.

The Pepsi Nutmeg came in 473ml light sandy-coloured can which showcases two footballers embraced in a nutmeg exchange.
