It’s a day that many music fans look forward to all year.

But the release of Spotify Wrapped brings a whole load of embarrassment with it for other listeners.

The tool lets you dig deep into your past 12 months of musical obsessions, revealing your trendy or tragic listening habits.

Following its launch this afternoon, several users have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions to their top tracks.

‘My Spotify Wrapped from this year will never see the light of day I am so embarrassed,’ wrote one user, while another added: ‘Somehow my Spotify Wrapped gets more and more embarrassing every year.’

Spotify Wrapped launched this afternoon, and many fans were quick to check in on their personalised playlists.

Unfortunately, it seems the vast majority of users have been left cringing looking back on their listening habits.

‘Just seen my Spotify Wrapped for this year and I burst out laughing HELP,’ one user tweeted.

Another wrote: ‘My Spotify wrapped has never embarrassed me more EVER not even in the height of my 2016 indie era.’

And one joked: ‘I’m sorry I’m not sharing my Spotify Wrapped it’s so cringe not even Batman could waterboard it out of me.’

However, it seems that not everyone was embarrassed by their top tracks.

‘For the first time ever, I’m NOT embarrassed of my spotify wrapped,’ one user wrote, alongside a screenshot of their Wrapped.

Another posted: ‘My Spotify Wrapped is the evidence of me becoming like my father, cool and has a taste of great songs yet old haha.’

Meanwhile, one Taylor Swift fan wrote: ‘the fact i was in taylors top 0.05% AND have forget me by lewis capaldi as my top song is impressive…’

How to find your 2023 Spotify Wrapped

Accessing your 2023 Spotify Wrapped feed is even easier than in previous years.

If you use the Spotify mobile app for either iOS or Android, simply open it up and look for the Wrapped feed on your home screen.

The Wrapped feed will contain everything you need to get the most out of your personalised content.

Users will be able to find playlists, selected merch from their favourite artists of the year, and even recommended concerts based on their Wrapped data.

To ensure you can access this year’s Wrapped, make sure your app is updated to the latest version or you may be unable to see all the features.

This year, Spotify desktop and web browser users will also be able to see their personalised Wrapped experience by heading to Spotify.com/Wrapped.

However, it seems that not everyone was embarrassed by their top tracks. One user posted: 'My Spotify Wrapped is the evidence of me becoming like my father, cool and has a taste of great songs yet old haha (labelled as the collector).'
