CADBURY fans are rushing to buy advent calendars scanning at the tills for £2.50 instead of £9.

The Christmas must-haves have hit the shelves for an absolute steal, just in time for December.

And these particular Cadbury calendars were snapped up for just £2.50 each.

One calendar will rock the tills at £9 if you’re shopping at Selfridges or £6 at Poundland.

But these two were nabbed from discount supermarket Heron Foods for just a fraction of the price.

One happy shopper shared her find on Facebook – saying the calendars were £3 each of two for £5.

Others shared their disappointment and shock, adding: “I’ve just paid £6 at Iceland,” and another said: “I paid £6 at Tesco.”

Another person wrote: “They’re £9 each in Morrisons.”

Brits are always hunting for a festive treat – especially if it’s a bargain.

It was revealed Christmas markets with free food and drink are popping up all over the UK – but you’ll have to be quick.

The festive stalls are part of Tesco‘s annual jolly efforts – with Santa visiting for the kids and games galore, too.

Christmas-themed tasters and drinks are spread out across a number of stalls, which are covered in twinkling lights and mistletoe.

But, Brits have to get in quick or they’ll miss out – most of the markets only pop up for one day in each location, and then they’re gone again.

Shoppers recently went wild for a £1.50 Christmas dinner returning to Iceland after a four-year break.

The meal has all the festive trimmings – turkey, sage and onion stuffing, smoked bacon, Brussels sprouts, sweetened dried cranberries and a pig in a blanket.

But it’s not as it seems.

One dad also recently went to Wetherspoons for a Christmas dinner as the meal was just £15.50.

Lee Davey tried the festive feast at one of Blackpool‘s pubs, and while he said it was “tasty” there was one thing he was left yearning for.

The chain revealed earlier this month that its festive menu was returning.

The menu is filled with classics, including everything you’d expect on your Christmas dinner plate and more.

It became available at more than 800 Wetherspoon pubs across the UK last week.

It comes as McDonald’s recently launched a Christmas menu – and The Sun was one of the first to try it.
