CHILDREN across the UK can get a personalised letter from Father Christmas but only if they write to him within days.

Santa will respond to kids’ Christmas letters as long they write to him by November 30 slightly earlier than last year.

Royal Mail has partnered with Hallmark to help deliver Father Christmas’ replies to children this season.

If children want to get a little creative this year they can download a template for their letter for free on the Hallmark website.

Although the letter itself is free you will need to include a stamp which will cost £1.25 for first class and 75p for second class.

You can find out everything you need to know about the new stamps featuring King Charles here.

If you want to write to him you should send the letter to; Santa/Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ.

It’s important to include your full name and address so that Santa knows where to send his reply.

The deadline for sending a letter is Thursday, November 30 but even then Royal Mail cannot guarantee every letter will get a reply.

After November 30 Santa will be very busy prepping for Christmas so sending one earlier is your best chance to get a response before the festive period.

Royal Mail advises it can take up to 10 days for his response letter to each home in the UK.

If you can’t wait till then you can download the card he’ll send to you on the Royal Mail website.

Royal Mail made major changes to fees earlier this month so double-check how that will affect your Christmas deliveries.

Other important dates ahead of Christmas

Other important dates to watch out for this festive season are when supermarket Christmas delivery slots open.

Asda, Co-op, Iceland, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose, all offer delivery slots, with some also offering collection slots.

Neither Aldi nor Lidl offer home deliveries, but Aldi does a Click and Collect service.

Most stores offer dates up to and including Christmas Eve but make sure you get yours booked now to avoid disappointment.

In other news we’ve found the cheapest supermarket to buy Baileys this week – and it’s not Asda or Tesco.

If you’ve got the festive feels check out all the festive TV films released so far including M&S, Waitrose and Asda.

Plus these are the cheapest places to buy Christmas selection boxes this week.
