AMAZON Fire Stick users can enable a useful voice feature by holding down two buttons on their remote.

Anyone can use the tech but it’s mostly useful for people who are struggling to see the screen or want a bit of extra assistance while browsing what to watch.

The accessibility feature is called Voice View.

Amazon explains: “VoiceView is a screen reader for Fire TV devices.

“It speaks on-screen text out loud as you navigate menu options and settings.

“You can also use VoiceView to help you set up your device.”

Bear in mind you’ll need a Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote to access this feature.

It’s designed for Amazon Fire TV users who are visually impaired.

To access it you just need to locate two buttons on the remote.

Hold down the Menu button and the Back buttons at the same time.

Most read in Phones & Gadgets

These are the left and right buttons that you see in the top trio of small buttons.

Keep holding them for around two to five seconds.

You can also access the feature via your Settings app.

Click on Accessibility and then VoiceView.

Here you can select to turn the feature on or off.

Amazon notes: “You hear, ‘VoiceView Ready’ when the feature is enabled and ready to use.

“When you turn the feature off, you hear. ‘VoiceView Exiting.'”
