The app is available to download for free and offers a selection of movies and TV shows at no-cost.

There’s even original content, but the catch is that you’ll have to put up with some ads.

Pluto TV

Another handy app is Pluto TV, which is a no-cost download and has plenty of free content available.

It’s ad-supported and even offers live channels too.

The app offers content across a range of genres including comedy, true crime, game shows, sports and music.

And just in time for the holidays: there’s plenty of Christmas content too.

Plex

Plex began life as a personal media app that let you stream your owned videos, songs or photos to a TV.

But in recent years, the company has been offering a selection of TV shows and movies free of charge.

This streaming service is ad-supported, and the app is free to download.

Rakuten TV

Rakuten is another TV app that offers live channels and movies for free.

Like others, it’s an ad-supported platform.

So you’ll need to put up with some ads – but you can enjoy content without paying a penny.

There’s also an option to buy or rent movies through the platform, including blockbuster titles like Barbie and Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.
