A MOULD removal expert has revealed the damps favourite hiding spot is – and it’s somewhere you would never think to check.
The secret hiding place was revealed in a TikTok posted by @aidensmouldremoval and it has the internet baffled.

The video shows the best way to find the source of “musty” smells.
Unfortunately once it’s located, the removal of the mould is no easy feat and involves a hands on approach to tackle it.
However finding it is the first step to eradicating it, and that’s why this video is so helpful.
The clip shows a man dressed in a protective suit – presumed to be Aidan – wandering into his bathroom.

Text is written across the screen saying: “Musty smell in the bathroom. Damp and Mould found.”
Then to the shock of viewers the man climbs into the bathtub and begins to dismantle the wall tiles.
Next, after removing several tiles he strips the inner layer and flips it over to reveal murky green mould that’s spread across it.
The video has racked up more than 200 likes and viewers were quick to ask questions and praise the expert in the comments section, however not all approved of his tactics.

And another questioned: “I have a room that gets very stuffy when you turn the heat on.
“I figured it’s the carpet. could mold cause this? stuffy meaning like no air in room,”
“How do you find it? Bathroom looks new!” asked a third.
Aiden responded to this by explaining he used “thermal imaging, moisture meters, visual signs etc.”
But not all were supportive of the method he used, “Bathroom was lovely, pointless.” stated one unsatisfied viewer.
