M&S has revealed its Christmas food advert for this year, featuring a star studded cast of Hollywood actors.
The festive clip sees a-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney share the screen with British icon Dawn French.

The 80-second video sees a Christmas fairy and a pair of children’s mittens come to life and explore M&S‘ yuletide feast.
It will have its TV premiere on This Morning on ITV at 10am.
The new ad opens with Dawn French, reprising her role as Fairy yet again, sitting on top of a Christmas tree in a stylishly decorated home.
She leaves her perch when she spots a rather sad looking reindeer mitten lying in the snow outside.

Using her magical powers, Fairy tugs the woolly mitt free revealing its pair, and the two go flying through the living room window.
Once inside the “Right” mitten opens its knitted mouth and viewers will immediately recognise the voice of Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.
His woollen buddy “Left” then speaks up revealing the voice of Reynolds’ co-owner of Wrexham FC and It’s Always Sunny star Rob McElhenney.
The two share a comical exchange before introducing themselves to Fairy.

Right then tells the winged character the story of how they ended up abandoned in the snow after their owner Lilly lost them on a trip.
In a bid to cheer the pair up Fairy whisks them away to “sprinkle them with M&S magic”.
On their journey around the dining room table, various M&S festive delicacies are revealed including mince pies, chocolate and Christmas pud.
Then with a wave of her wand an entire turkey dinner appears complete with cheese plates and pigs in blankets.
This showcases some of what’s on offer in M&S’ festive menu for 2023.
Right and Left turn to one another shout “best Christmas ever” before Fairy recounts the famous line “this is not just food, this is M&S Christmas food”.
You won’t get bored of watching the same advert over and over either because M&S will drop a new video every week until the New Year – that’s six adventures featuring Fairy, Right and Left.
Each of the adverts will reveal more of the festive collection, with the classic slow-motion close-up shots of M&S food.
Sharry Cramond, M&S food director of marketing and hospitality said: “This year’s Christmas advertising campaign is possibly my favourite to date.
“Not only does it build on the unrivalled success of last year, it also
introduces a sprinkle of Hollywood glamour with the addition of both Rob and Ryan.”
This year marks the third time Dawn French has returned to the festive screen for M&S.
In 2022 she starred alongside Jennifer Saunders as Fairy and Duckie as they take a tour of Christmas dishes, while narrowly escaping Wylie the dog.
Back in 2021, we saw the debut of French’s character as she starred alongside Spiderman actor Tom Holland who voiced Percy Pig.
Dawn has since lent her voice to several M&S Food campaigns.
Today’s food advert comes just hours after the posh shop’s clothes and home clip hit the airwaves.
Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham is among the star-studded cast in the posh shop’s clothes and home festive ad this year.
Other famous faces include Fresh Meat’s Zawe Ashton, Murder on the Dancefloor singer Sophie Ellis Bextor, and Queer Eye star Tan France.
Marks and Spencer isn’t the only brand to bring celebrities to their festive ads this Christmas.
