A HOUSE inspector has revealed the worst newbuild home he has ever visited.

An inspector, from New Home Quality Control, regularly posts TikTok videos exposing awful building blunders in new homes across the UK.

The home assessed by the inspector is said to be just two days old

The latest assessment comes at a “brand new two-day-old property”, but is described as “the worst I’ve seen” and “absolutely shocking” as water is seen pouring from a boiler.

The inspector walks into the house via a garage that has become flooded due to a “massive malfunction” with the boiler.

But the boiler was not the only issue with the property, as the assessor pointed to how the canopy at the front has not been fitted correctly, with fittings left loose.

A pair of gardening gloves and debris also appear to have been left on a bay roof, while the render trims are “in a state”.

The footage also shows him highlighting the “completely scratched” and “poorly cut” trims above the garage.

Drains at the front of the garage have been left with tarmac inside and sills at the front door are seen to be completely loose.

He also highlights how a number of areas on the exterior of the property have been damages, including the bay roof and render – along with “really poorly” pointed bricks.

The brick work is also “out of tolerance”, while fascia is also cracked at the rear of the house.

Fencing has been left covered in dirt, while brickwork in the upper part of the property is seen to be “uneven”.

Viewers were left aghast at the standard of the newbuild and were quick to suggest how the homeowner should be due a refund.

The inspector told viewers: “The homeowner hires us to inspect the property, we provide a report with photos and descriptions which they pass on to the devs [developers] to rectify for free.”

One viewer said: “You can tell the site manager checked this at 4pm on a Friday.”

A second added: “That’s not just shocking, it’s apocalyptic.”

And a third wrote: “Heartbreaking for someone, who was sold a promise of a dream home then they arrive to this.”

It comes after another house inspector revealed why you should always check new build homes for snags.

Another assessor who exposes dodgy work on new build homes has also revealed one job that never gets done properly.
