It comes after another prize worth £5.2M from the draw on Wednesday was claimed over the weekend – making it two wins in less than one week.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “It’s great news that this fantastic Lotto jackpot has now been claimed.

“September has proven to be amazingly lucky for Lotto players, with an incredible 14 millionaires being made throughout the month!

“We will now focus our efforts on supporting this latest winning ticket-holder through the claims process, so they can begin to enjoy their life-changing win.

“With October having only just begun and an estimated £2M jackpop up for grabs in tonight’s Lotto draw, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the Lotto winning streak continues.

“Be sure to get your tickets for tonight’s Lotto draw (4 October 2023), to be in with a chance of becoming Lotto’s latest millionaire!”
