MONEY-SAVING shoppers have found a new haircare range at Savers which they believe is almost identical to posh Olaplex products.

Those who live and breathe all things hair and beauty will know the hype around Olapex – the extensive collection of products promises to nourish your dry locks, not to mention the signature scent.

Priced at an eye-watering £28 per single bottle, the posh range is not the most affordable option for many

However, the hefty price tag – each of their items retails for around an eye-watering £28 – means Olaplex is not the most affordable option for cash-strapped Britons.

Luckily, if you’re on the lookout for a less pricey alternative, keep on reading, as beauty fans have found what they reckon is a ”very similar” product.

Taking to Facebook, one woman, Vicky Davies, from Wales, shared a snap of the bargain deal she had stumbled across in Savers.

”I found these in savers £2.49 each the same as olaplex apparently,” the delighted customer wrote in her post.

Whilst shopping at the store, Vicky had also picked up a few of the items, including Plex System Cleansing Shampoo, as well as Plex System Hydrating Conditioner.

Other cheap finds in the shopping haul were Plex System Nourishing Hair Mask and Plex System Restoring Hair Oil.

Similarly to its posh sister Olaplex, the budget-friendly Savers’ version, too, uses a number system to help beauty fans use the products in the correct order.

The Cleansing Shampoo (1) promises to hydrate, soften, cleanse and control any frizz on your hair, whilst the Nourishing Hair Mask (2) says it will replenish, strengthen and condition your locks.

Meanwhile, the Hydrating Conditioner (3) is said to nourish, detangle, smoothen and give your hair a shine, and the final step – Restoring Hair Oil – will protect, repair and add extra shine.

Needless to say, fellow members of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group where the post was shared were delighted to hear about the bargain deal.

As dozens raced to comments to tag their friends and family, others shared their thoughts on the affordable haircare range.

”Oh I love these got mine mine from b&m my hair loves it,” wrote one.

A second penned: ”I use this it’s brill.”

Someone else chimed in: ”i do use this, just the hair mask and yes it’s not like real oplex but my hair is very hydrated and heathy [sic].”

However, not everyone was raving about the products, as some advised to not waste your money.

”These and the aldi version aren’t nothing like olaplex.. they made my hair so limp.. olaplex is my favourite.. works wonders for everyone in my house,” said a beauty fan.

”I was hopefull and gave then a go. Didn’t rate it, but I have very long, thick and curly hair [sic],” another Facebook user commented.
