Speaking on her @lottielashley account, she said: “Here are the labels you should always look out for in charity shops.”

First up was Escada Sport, and she admitted she had walked right past one of their polo tops during a recent charity visit.

She said: “My friend Sophie spotted the Escada Sport label and was like ‘babe you should have bought it because that top is worth a lot of money,’

“Of course Sophie was right.

“I looked on Depop and Etsy and pieces are worth £75 to £120 if they have the Escada label.”

The next label to look out for is Desigual, which has “unique pieces” that are “great quality.”

Lottie said: “Their pieces, whether old or new, are also iconic.”

The charity shop lover also said Saint Michael, which is Marks and Spencer’s old label, is also one to keep an eye out for.

She explained: “These are vintage M&S pieces and these are always great quality and they are always iconic.

“If you find vintage M&S it will always be a piece that lasts you for ages.”

Many shoppers were quick to chime in with brands of their own, with one saying Clockhouse is one to look out for.

Another person claimed Folk is another money-earner, saying: “I bought a pair of trousers the other day , googled the brand and they sell for £140 , £80 second hand!”

A third swore by Red Herring as a brand to snap up.
