ANOTHER 37 Wilko stores are closing down for good tomorrow, in another blow to the high street.

The retailer fell into administration on August 10 resulting in the closure of all 400 stores.

Throughout September, Wilko branches have been closing left, right and centre.

By early October all of the company’s shops will have closed for good.

The next set of closures will be tomorrow, September 24 where 37 locations will shut.

These stores will pull down their shutters for the final time.

Hundreds of stores have already pulled down their shutters for the final time.

On September 12, 24 Wilko stores closed for good and on Thursday September 14, another 28 stores shut up shop.

Both of Wilko’s warehouses, called distribution centres, also closed on September 15.

further 38 stores pulled down the shutters one last time on September 17.

Another round of 38 shops closed Tuesday, followed by 48 more branches shutting their doors on yesterday.

Another 37 shops will then close for good on Tuesday, September 26.

Meanwhile, 37 further stores will shut forever on Thursday, September 28.

The retailer will shut its final 111 stores in early October as part of the final phase of closures, administrators for PwC said.

But B&M and Poundland have purchased a handful of stores which could reopen in the future.

The Range last week snapped up the Wilko brand, including the name and website, in a £5million deal with administrators.

Now, a message on the Wilko website is promising customers that home delivery is “returning soon”.
