A SHOPPER has warned people to check their local Asda for winter essentials scanning at tills for just £1.
Billie Jo Clark, from Rotherham, took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her bargain find.
She revealed that duvets and pillows at the retailer are currently selling for between £1 and £1.50.
Alongside a snap of the back of her car full of quilts, Billie wrote: “UPDATE – Added photo of quilts. Check your local Asda!
“Quilts & pillows down to £1-£1.50!!”
Many people tagged their friends and partners in the comment section of the post to let them know about the reductions.
One quipped: “Are you having a duvet day!! Chocs, snacks, pizza and duvets?”
Another commented: “You best be going Asda tomorrow.”
A third said: “The pizza and cheese snacks cost more than a whole duvet.”
Do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so prices and stock will vary from store to store.
