It’s the go-to calendar app for millions of people around the world, but Google Calendar appears to be having problems this afternoon.

According to Down Detector, the problems started at around 14:30 BST and are affecting users globally.

So far, more than 1,400 issues have been logged, with two-thirds of users reporting problems with the website.

MailOnline tried to access the app, and was met with an error message reading: ‘There was an error. Please try again later.’

Google is yet to comment on the outage.
