The chocolate hasn’t been seen in Quality Street tubs for nearly 20 years and fans have shared their thoughts on the return on social media.

One commented: “Christmas is saved!”

While someone else wrote: “I’m so bloomin’ excited! I may need an entire tin of them!”

However other shoppers wanted some of the other discontinued flavours to make a return instead.

One person said: “It’s a no from me.”

While someone else said: “No way, sorry not one of my favourites.”

Others were pleading with Quality Street to bring the treats back to tubs as they don’t live near a John Lewis or Waitrose.

They said: “Please, please bring these back in the tubs and not just in the advent calendar or festive cracker.”

To get your hands on the sweet treat, you’ll need to head to either a Waitrose or John Lewis store.

The coffee cream chocolates will be available inside Quality Street’s festive cracker and advent calendar this year.

The Quality Street coffee creme cracker will be on sale for £6 while the advent calendar is retailing at £10.

If you are at a John Lewis store, then you’ll also be able to add the flavour to any pick ‘n’ mix tins.

However, this is only at selected John Lewis branches and won’t be available until September 27.

The stands will be found at 19 shops nationwide where customers can choose from 12 different choccies.

You can find your nearest store by using the store locator tool on their websites.

John Lewis brought back its pick ‘n’ mix stands last Christmas to the delight of Christmas shoppers.

It comes after Nestle launched a new chocolate bar combining two iconic Quality Street flavours – the purple one and the green triangle.

Plus, shoppers have been going wild for the return of M&S’ popular festive light-up tins.
