Terry’s chocolate mint flavour is proving to be a hit with fans

One chocolate lover posted in the New Foods UK Facebook group a picture of of the mint flavour chocolate orange and said they were “absolutely addicted”.

The post read: “Absolutely addicted to these!! Now available at Heron Foods, Iceland Foods and B&M.”

This sent other members of the group in a frenzy and they were quick to tag their friends and plan a trip to get their hands on one.

One person said: “I think we might just need to go hunting for this.”

Another added: “Got mine yesterday and it was delicious, getting few more for Xmas.”

While another commented: “They look delicious, will have to try one of those.”

The post gained 1.6k likes and over 1k comments from chocolate lovers excited to try the new flavour.

There was no price listed on the post but we had a shop around to see what retailers are charging for the new mint flavour.

We found it listed online at Ocado for £1.50 and it is also on the Tesco website for the same price.

We could not see the mint one on the B&M or Iceland websites at the time we checked but the orange flavour was retailing at £1.50.

It is worth checking back as things do change daily and just because something isn’t showing online does not mean that it is not in stores.

Some fans have been left divided by the new addition to the Terry’s chocolate orange family.

In another social media post one person said: “Why ruin a good chocolate bar, also it’s still shaped like an orange so makes no sense.”

While someone else wrote: “They’re taking it too far.”

It is not the first new launch for Terry’s this year.

Earlier this month they brought back the much-loved toffee crunch flavour and one fan hailed it “the best flavour ever”.

In March, the company announced it would be launching an ice cream tub and ice cream sticks.

The post said: “Clear out your freezer…introducing our brand new Terry’s Ice Cream range.

This latest launch from Terry’s comes as Quality Street fans were recently left divided over another new choccy treat.

Nestle launched a new chocolate bar combining two iconic Quality Street flavours –  The Purple One and the Green Triangle.

One fan loved the idea and wrote on social media: “My new favourite chocolate!”

Another said: “Now that is something different and interesting.”

Chocolate giant Cadbury is getting ready for the festive season and has just launched its Christmas 2023 range.
