The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council annual meeting kicks off Monday evening and continues through Tuesday, featuring interviews with prominent lawmakers, health-care and national-security officials, business leaders, economists and more. We’ll have write-ups of the main interviews and will be streaming selected conversations at WSJ.com and on the Journal’s Twitter account.

The virtual gathering is being held as President-elect Joe Biden is set to move into the White House next month, with Congress considering more economic aid, as the coronavirus pandemic surges into the holiday season amid hopes for widespread vaccinations next year.

Here is a look at some of the planned interviews.

Monday

Starting shortly after 7 p.m. ET, the Journal interviews Jake Sullivan, Mr. Biden’s pick for national security adviser, and Cedric Richmond, who was named a senior adviser to the incoming president.

Next up is Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.), a longtime adviser to President Trump on domestic issues such as immigration and foreign policy, who is seen as a potential presidential candidate in 2024.
