Shane Phelan and his partner Jessica Cullen own Moda Imperiale in Huddersfield and stock top brands for cut-cost prices.

They can sell a Jack Wills top for £10, when it was £29.95, a Topshop dress for £15 – which has come down from £39 – and Topshop boots for £20, when you’d have to splash £59 in store.

The couple also sell a £65 Dorothy Perkins maxi dress for £15.

The couple started buying a selling clothes on eBay – before expanding to their real-life shop in West Yorkshire.

While items in Shane and Jessica’s shop may be a few seasons out of date, they’re all brand new.

Shane previously said: “We sell them so cheap as we try and sell numbers, not make money so we can have a big customer base.

“The cheaper our clothes are, the busier we are.

“On our opening evening, we made £1,000 – which averages out to about 100 items.

“We still sell on eBay, so we make about £1000 online a week, and then £1500 a week in the store and our most popular items are Topshop jeans or summer dresses.

“We have lots of regular customers, and our biggest sale was for £124, where a lady bought four pairs of Topshop jeans, dresses and hoodies.”

Punters have previously been quick to dub the clothes shop the “cheapest” in the UK.

Judith Liversage, 64, from Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, purchased a Dorothy Perkins jumper for just £9 at the shop in recent months.

It was originally £22.

She said: “This is my second time browsing, but my first time buying something.

“Everything is so cheap, it’s good quality but affordable and there is something that appeals to everyone.

“I like to get all dressed up, but I don’t want to spend loads.

“I don’t do anything online, I much prefer to come to shops and support small businesses.
