B&M shoppers have been rushing out to buy a double fitted sheet scanning for just 50p.

The super soft blended bed linen usually sells for £5.99, meaning customers are getting a discount of around 90%.

The double fitted sheet is scanning for 90% off in some B&M stores.

One bargain-hunter spotted the deal and posted it on the B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More Facebook group.

The post has received almost 100 likes, with one group member commenting: “Unbelievable!” while another replied: “Blimey”.

We couldn’t find any other retailers selling a double fitted sheet for anywhere near 50p.

Similar double super soft fitted sheets sell for as much as £11 online at popular homeware retailer Argos.

The cheapest options we found for soft double sheets were around £5 at homeware stores Dunelm and Asda George.

Retailers only tend to slash their prices so dramatically to clear excess stock, so B&M’s 50p set might not be on sale in your local store.

The deal doesn’t appear to be available online either.

It might be worth calling your local branch to see if they have it in stock before heading out to buy one.
