It’s one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the summer, and now even Xbox is joining in on the Barbie hype.

The gaming giant has unveiled a brand new pink version of its Xbox Series S console to celebrate the upcoming launch of the film.

‘From her DreamHouse to her dream closet, Barbie’s iconic style is unmatched,’ Xbox explained.

‘Now, you can bring her fashion-forward genius to your gaming setup.’

Unfortunately, there’s a catch with the new console – it isn’t available to buy, and instead, only a few lucky fans will have a chance to win it in a giveaway next month.

The incredible hot pink console has ‘Barbie’ written across the front of it.

What’s more, the console is built into the bottom floor of a glamorous, three-storey Barbie DreamHouse.

The second and third floors feature Barbie’s living room and bedroom respectively, which are both entirely decked out in pink furniture (obviously).

Xbox has also revealed five interchangeable Xbox Wireless Controller faceplates, which are designed after Barbie and Ken’s distinct on-screen outfits.

Unfortunately, the Barbie-inspired Xbox Series S and controller faceplates aren’t available to buy, and instead will be part of an exciting giveaway next month.

‘Fans have a chance to win these starting on July 10 on @Xbox and Microsoft Rewards,’ Xbox added.

Despite not being available to buy, several excited fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the new gadgets.

‘wait why am i about to switch sides from playstation to xbox because of this,’ one user wrote.

Another added: ‘im not even a console gamer but i need this immediately.’

And one joked: ‘playstation, drop the oppenheimer ps5 now.’

The news comes shortly after Warner Bros Entertainment released a free tool called the Barbie Selfie Generator that transforms your photos into Barbie movie posters.

To test the tool yourself, click Start and you’ll be prompted to either take or upload a photo of yourself.

Once you’re happy with your selection, click Continue and your selfie will be transformed into a film poster.

To reposition your image, select the arrow tool on the right, and you’ll be able to zoom in or out, and move the selfie from left to right.

The tool automatically selects a slogan for you, such as ‘This Barbie is an optimist’ or ‘This Barbie is an astronaut’.

However, if you’re not happy with your slogan, you can edit this by clicking on the pencil icon and typing your preferred slogan into the text box.

If you’d prefer your poster to be for Ken, you can also adjust this under the pencil icon.

Finally, you can choose to change the colour of the sparkles behind you by clicking on the palette icon on the right.

Once you’re happy with your poster, click Continue and you’ll be given the option to download it or share it on social media.
