METAL Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 has been announced for all modern platforms.

This includes PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch.

There will be five games and numerous bonuses available in the collection.

However, one of these versions appears to be inferior to the others and could harm the console it’s played on.

The MGS collection comes with Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and the original two Metal Gear games.

It also contains a host of bonus content, including a digital soundtrack, two graphic novels, bonus videos, and a bunch more — a pretty solid package overall.

While these are classic games, with so much content, they still require a decent amount of storage.

If a player downloads all of the games and additional videos, the game adds up to 54GB.

Before additional storage is added, the original Nintendo Switch comes with just 32GB of internal storage.

The OLED model is a little better with 64GB, but the game will still take up most of the internal space.

Using all of this space can slow down the console, and make games harder to play.

The normal way that gamers get around the Switch’s storage problem is that they purchase physical games.

These have the game data on the cartridge, meaning they can save the space on their console.

However, according to the official website, the Master Collection has just 2.4GB on the cartridge, and the rest has to be downloaded.

Switch cartridges can have up to 64GB of storage, which would be enough to house the complete collection.

Publishing physical games on Switch is by far the most expensive, especially when compared to disc-based platforms.

Switch game cartridges can vary in size from 4GB to 64GB, with higher-capacity ones being more costly.

It seems that Konami has decided to use the cheapest cartridges to save money on the release.

However, even the 16GB cartridge would have been enough to fit the majority of the games on the cartridge.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 got its release date during the Nintendo Direct.
