A savvy shopper posted a picture of her bargain find to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group.

Alongside the item, she also shared how she uses the mat to keep her family cool during the night.

She said: “I’ve put a couple under mine and hubby’s pillow and one under the sheet in my little ones bed.

Other members of the group were quick to comment and the post has now racked up 1.2K comments and almost 1k likes.

One person said: “I love cooling mats, I can’t sleep without them.
