USERS are reporting issues accessing their Microsoft Outlook accounts.

Reports arose on Monday morning just before 10.30am ET, according to Downdetector, and started to drop over an hour later.

“Outlook on the Web not working,” one user wrote.

When trying to access the email site, an error message appears.

“Service Unavailable,” it says, followed by: “HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Microsoft but did not immediately hear back.

    In a statement, Microsoft said: “We’ve identified downstream impact for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.

    “We’re providing full impact details and updates for those services via MO571683. Updates pertaining to Exchange and Outlook on the web will continue to be provided via EX571516.”

  • Reports start to come down

    Downdetector reports are starting to drop, with one user explaining that the site is now up and down “intermittently.”

    “Up and down intermittently in Idaho. I have some rather frantic users over here,” they wrote.

    “Looking at this, I can receive emails, but Outlook gives me a blank window when I go to view the email. Sometimes it takes a minute to load the email, and sometimes it just sits there.”

  • Issues with ‘logging in’

    One user has reported their specific issues.

    “Server issue when trying to log into my email. West Palm beach area,” they wrote.

  • ‘503 error’ reports

    One user in South Florida has reported that they are receiving a “503 error.”

    Microsoft has said it is investigating the outage reports.

  • Outlook desktop app users reporting issues

    A user on Twitter has revealed that the outage is also affecting those with the Outlook desktop app.

    “This is affecting Outlook desktop app users as well, as myself and my colleagues are having trouble opening emails from the server, opening outlook items or even the app itself!,” they wrote.

    Over 16,000 users are reporting issues with Outlook, according to Downdetector.

    Microsoft has confirmed that they are investigating the issues.

    Microsoft has issued a statement revealing that they are investigating the Outlook issue.

    “We’re investigating an issue with accessing Outlook on the web. Further details can be found under EX571516 in the admin center,” the company said on Twitter.

    One user all the way in the Philippines has reported an issue with Outlook.

    “outlook down here in Philippines to,” they said.

  • Issues spread to Canada

    Users in Canada have also been reporting issues with Outlook.

    According to Downdetector, over 500 users were having issues with Microsoft 365.

  • User says they can see the emails, but can’t open them

    “Outlook back again. Long Island, New York … well, sort of … I can SEE the emails, but, can’t open them!!” one user wrote.

    However, some users are still reporting a full outage.
