Customers can mix and match and get the cheapest item for half price.

The retailer launched the sale on Thursday with some shoppers taking to Facebook since saying they didn’t realise about it until now.

One took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group yesterday sharing a photo of a pirate sandpit she picked up from her local Lidl branch.

She said: “Pirate ship sandpit from Lidl, much bigger than expected.

“£99.99 down from £149.99 also in a sale of buy one get one half price!”

Meanwhile, another posted a photo on the same group of a sand and water table and sandpit which she got reduced through the sale.

She said: “Buy one get one half price so this only cost me £85.”

If you’re keen to pick up one of the items in the sale, you’ll have to head down to your nearest Lidl branch as you can’t get them online.

If you don’t know where your nearest one is you can use the store locator found on Lidl’s website.

You just have to enter your postcode or town where you live and it will bring it up.

What are some of the items in the Lidl sale?

There’s hundreds of products to choose from in the sale, including garden furniture and lawnmowers.

There’s a Livarno egg chair on sale for £150, which you could get for £75 if you buy another item over £150.

Shoppers can pick up a kid’s bouncy castle for £60 or £30 if you claim the 50% discount.

Meanwhile, there’s a number of smaller items to pick from including solar lights for £2.50 and outdoor rugs for £10.

And for any keen gardeners there’s secateurs on sale for £4 and a 15metre garden hose set for £15.

Remember though, to always shop around when buying any product as you might find it cheaper elsewhere.

You can use websites like pricespy.co.uk that let you compare items, or the Google Shopping tab is useful too.

It is based on online prices though so might not reflect what you’d pay in-store.
