Ioannis once worked through the night assembling a trampoline for a client for their child’s surprise birthday party.

He said: “I started this as a hobby. I pick the jobs I want to. I don’t have to complete every job on the app.

“My clients understand how I enjoy this job and I am not just doing this to make money and that is something that keeps them happy. For me, it is very important as I feel like my clients like my services.”

Ioannis earns £901 for painting, £624 for handyman work, £554 for gardening, £485 for electrical work and £416 for furniture assembly per month.

Airtasker recommends getting a tax expert to help you if you use the app to earn extra income.

They advise keeping a record of all the tasks you do, as all income earnt may be taxable depending on your location.
