ASDA has hiked the cost of ten Cadbury Mini Rolls to £3.95, now 30 per cent more expensive than two five packs

A ten-pack of Mini Rolls is now a whopping £3.95 at Asda — pricier than all of their supermarket rivals.

But with its five-pack at £1.50, savvy shoppers can buy two of those and still get their ten choc rolls but for 95p less.

The move sparked an angry response online from customers fed up with the rising price of grub.

Mum Jessica Leigh tweeted: “I’m watching food inflation through the price of my kids’ mini rolls.

“Asda have lost the plot! £3.95 for 10! Look at the price for 5! Pathetic. Sort it out.”

Another customer complained on Asda’s website: “Surely this must be an error? This price is ridiculous. Have a word with yourselves.”

Giving the product a one-star review, a stunned punter added: “Who on earth is paying Asda price of £3.95?”

Rival Tesco charges £3.45 for a ten-pack of Cadbury Mini Rolls — currently reduced to £2.50 for Clubcard holders. Poundland offer them for just £2.

Asda said while the ten-pack is “marginally more expensive” than at its rivals, the five-pack is cheaper.
