Entertaining youngsters dressed as their favourite character certainly sounds easy when you don’t need to have any qualifications to apply – just some experience.

The average salary is around £24.36 per hour which adds up to £47.5k.

According to UK talent, entry level positions star at £39,875 while the most experience of performers could bag themselves a whopping £72,800.

However, there is a slight risk if you’re considering the job prospect.

The role is freelance majority of the time, which means work isn’t guaranteed all year round.

Those in the industry could go for weeks or even months without work in less-popular seasons.

And even though you don’t need a degree, the wage does depend on your experience.
