SAINSBURY’S shoppers should take note of the supermarket’s opening hours over the May Bank Holidays.

The vast majority of the supermarket giant’s larger stores will be open from 8am to 8pm on May 1, May 8 and May 29.

Meanwhile, its smaller convenience stores will be open as per usual from 7am to 11pm.

However, customers are urged to check their nearest branch’s opening hours as they can vary.

To find your nearest store’s specific opening hours, you can use the locator tool on Sainsbury’s website.

Is Sainsbury’s open over the May Bank Holidays?

Most of Sainsbury’s larger stores will be open between 8am and 8pm over the three May Bank Holiday dates.

The smaller branches will be open as normal from 7am to 11pm.

But these aren’t guaranteed opening hours and will vary depending on the shop.

You should check out the Sainsbury’s store locator on the supermarket’s website to find out what your nearest branch’s opening hours will be.

You then have to type in your town or postcode and it will draw up your closest store.
