SHOPPERS at PrettyLittleThing have been left furious after missing out on its Black Friday sale with up to 99% off.
The online fashion retailer dropped the bargain offers on its website around midnight, but they quickly sold out.
Deals up for grabs included a £70 coat for just 7p, as well as a £30 dress down to 30p.
Although some shoppers were very happy about their bargains, others have vented on Twitter about missing the sale.
One shopper said: “PLT was selling £70 coats for 7p tonight and all other stock for 99% off and it’s now all sold out.
“I just want to say I’m wounded and was 5 mins late and it sold out instantly.”
Another shopper added: “How did I miss this 99% PLT sale?? I’m FUMING.”
And a third one said: “PLT being 99% off everything right now and everything sold out is mad annoying.”
Following the complaints, PrettyLittleThing later added more items to its 99% off selection during the day.
However, shoppers are now struggling to find anything which is reduced by 99% and in stock, as many of the sold out items remain on the website.
One shopper wrote: “Seriously they need to take off what’s sold out.. it feels like I’m searching for the impossible… now I’m just tired with a migraine.”
While another fumed: “@OfficialPLT IF IT IS OUT OF STOCK WHY IS IT STILL ON THE WEBSITE???!!!!????!!!!!????!!!??????? #prettylittlething”
And a third said: “It would help if all the things that are actually sold out weren’t showing up making life difficult.”
Some Twitter users have also slammed the retailer for the sale, saying it means someone along its supply chain isn’t getting paid properly.
One user said: “PrettyLittleThing selling literal clothes for 5p and still being able to make a profit isn’t funny.
“It’s a reminder that the industry constantly exploits BIPOC [black, indigenous, and other people of colour] through unacceptable pay and poor conditions.”
While another added: “Dresses for 8p? So how much does this cost your garment workers and um… the planet @OfficialPLT???”
And a third added: “I just want to say that I KNOW that sustainable clothing isn’t affordable for everyone.
“But @OfficialPLT selling clothes this cheap is not okay. Ask yourself how many people work to get that item into your hands.”
The Sun has contacted PrettyLittleThing for comment.
A spokesperson for the retailer told Manchester Evening News: “Everything is selling out within minutes of it dropping.
“We are seeing record numbers on the website.”
