The London Zoo, Regent’s Park
The London Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in England after being established in 1828 and good news it is open over Easter weekend.
Animal fans will be able to visit the zoo until 6pm all weekend.
You certainly won’t get bored as there are more than 19,000 different animals at London Zoo.
Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo will be opened between 10am-5:30pm over the Easter bank holiday.
The venue covers about 125 acres of land and there are about 400 species of animals there.
There are boat trips available at Chester Zoo, meaning that visitors can watch the animals in their habitats at the same time.
Whipsnade Zoo
Whipsnade Zoo is the biggest zoo in England and covers 600 acres of land.
It is famous for having the largest collection of wildlife of all the zoos in England.

Longleat Safari Park
Longleat Safari and Adventure Park is one of the oldest zoos in England.
It will open between 10am-7pm all weekend.
Longleat is a good open if there’s some ran over the weekend as you can just stay in the car and cruise around while looking at the animals.
Edinburgh Zoo
Edinburgh Zoo will be open until 6pm on the Easter bank holiday weekend.
It is based on 82-acres of land and receives more than 600,000 visitors each year.
Edinburgh Zoo was the first zoo in the world to house and to breed penguins as well as being the only zoo in Britain to house Queensland koalas and giant pandas.
Colchester Zoo
Colchester Zoo, which is based in Essex, will be open 9:30am-5:30am over the Easter weekend.
It is smaller than some other zoos, being based on 60 acres of land.
It is home to many rare and endangered species, including big cats, primates and birds as well as many invertebrates and fish.
