FANS of the Grand Theft Auto series have been taking a closer look at leaked footage and have found a surprising new feature.

Last year, a hacker gained access to developer Rockstar’s database, and leaked almost a hundred videos of early development game footage of the upcoming GTA 6.

Vice City could be twice as big as Los Santos.

While the footage has been around for months, people have been reexamining it and collecting new information.

Dataminers looked at the code hidden within the footage and found out that the GTA 6 map will be roughly twice the size of GTA 5’s.

GTA 5 already has one of the biggest video game map sizes, so GTA 6 is set to be massive.

However, the new information has been found by searching the videos themselves instead of the code.

Eagle-eyed Redditors noticed that sometimes both of the game’s protagonists, Lucia and Jason, were moving at the same time.

While Jason was the focal point in the footage, they noticed that Lucia wasn’t moving like an AI usually moves a character.

This could point to a much improved AI system, but fans believe that a second person was controlling her.

This would mean that GTA 6 would feature co-op gameplay for the first time in the mainline series.

It could only be couch co-op, but given the success of GTA Online, it will likely be online co-op.

This theory is further encouraged as a ‘Share Inventory’ option can be seen, suggesting that the two players will be able to share items.

Nothing has been officially announced as Rockstar is keeping GTA 6 a mystery so far.

However, if these leaks and theories are true, it’s shaping up to be the best GTA game yet.
