Nervous banks are showering customers with more perks than ever before in a bid to keep their business – including tickets to the upcoming Beyonce tour, which are in high demand.
Alex Cheatle, boss of luxury concierge service Ten Lifestyle, said that the fear of bank runs is more an ‘opportunity’ than a threat for his company.
‘We’re finding that banks are signing longer and bigger contracts with us,’ he told the Daily Mail.
Cheatle – who founded Ten with his half-brother Andrew Long in 1998 – said the average bank was spending 20 per cent more year-on-year for customer benefits.
Ten works with banks and city bigwigs, organising everything from free upgrades at top London hotels to reserving the best tables at Michelin-star restaurants.
Cheatle said seats to watch Beyonce are the most popular treat at the moment for the banks.
Ten expects to post net revenue of around £30m for the six months ended on February 28, up 49 per cent.
