The bank is set to close branches across England and Wales, with sites in Cambridge, Llandeilo and Holmes Chapel among those affected.

All of the branches are set to close their doors in June.

Barclays has already announced a number of closures earlier this year.

Data from LINK, the UK’s largest cash machine network, shows when banks are set to close over the next five months.

In this month alone 24 branches have closed, and April will see another 52 shut their doors for the last time.

Plus, the high street bank announced that another 14 will close in June earlier this month.

This takes the total number of branches closing in June to 28.

Barclays has previously said that more customers are now choosing to do their banking online and on apps, rather than visiting in person.

Typically if there are no banks in a town, you should be able to do some basic banking at your local Post Office

Many banks also offer a mobile banking service.

This is where your bank brings a bus to your local area that has the services that are usually available at your branch.

You should call up your bank to see if it runs a banking bus and they will be able to tell you where and when it will be parked.

Other banks use buildings such as village halls or libraries to offer mobile banking services.
