Lidl selling Barbie Play House for £30 down from £65

Lidl has slashed the price of a Barbie house playset by more than 50% as the Christmas shopping rush gets underway.

The portable dolls house was £64.99 but is now selling for just £29.99 – saving customers £35.

The playset is part of the discounter’s limited Middle of Lidl range and is in shops now until stock runs out.

The Barbie house unfolds into a two foot-long one-story home with 360-degrees of play.

It comes complete with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, patio, and household accessories.

The playset even has with a pool which you can fill with water so Barbie can go swimming underneath the colourful lights that hang from the fold-out patio cover.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.

CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

It is suitable for ages three years and over and has a one year guarantee.

The supermarket is not the only place that has reduced the price of the Barbie playset but it is offering the cheapest deal.

You can order the same house online at Argos for £32.50 and pick it up in store or pay £3.95 for delivery.

You can also buy it on Amazon for £39.99 plus £4.49 for standard delivery or for free if you’re a Prime member.

KidInn is also selling the playset for £37.99 plus £4.99 for the cheapest delivery option

So even if you do not pay for the cost of delivery from other retailers, you’ll save at least £2.51 when you pick up the dolls house at Lidl.

Lidl doesn’t sell its products online yet, so if you want to snap up the toy, you need to visit your local branch instead.
