Reddit is down for tens of thousands of users across the globe – less than 24 hours since the site experienced a separate outage.

Wednesday’s incident appeared around 9:30 am ET, impacting the app, website and service connection – and feeds are not loading properly.

Downdetector, a site that monitors outages, shows more than 17,000 users in the US are having problems with Reddit.

The social networking site has acknowledged the issue and is working to repair it.

Reddit, a social network with a forum-style discussion structure, has around 50 million daily active users worldwide.

And while it is unclear how many are impacted by the outage, it is safe to safe many are.

Users have flocked to Twitter to share their frustrations about the site not working correctly and see if anyone else is experiencing an outage.

One user named Tommy Shelby shared a screenshot of the site, sharing that the account is not his.

‘Yo .. @reddit this ain’t my reddit profile….i think there is a bug that shows someone’s profile as mine ..it even shows insights and all ..you will be in deep privacy s*** if you don’t rectify this ASAP ..i think reddit down too,’ Shelby wrote in a tweet.

Other Twitter users joked that now with Reddit being down, they have to get back to doing actual work.

Many users are more frustrated that this is the second outage to hit Reddit in less than 24 hours.

The issue seems to be that feeds are not loading on both the desktop and the mobile app.

‘We’re working to repair the issue and should have a fix in place shortly.

Tuesday’s outage appeared around 3:00 pm ET, impacting APIs, commenting and voting on the platform – but it was resolved two hours later.

And Reddit is not the only social network site frustrating users, as one Monday, Facebook Messenger crashed worldwide.
