NCA launches people-smuggling investigation after vessel stopped near Great Yarmouth

Seventy-two people have been arrested on suspicion of offences under the Immigration Act after a fishing boat was intercepted off the coast of East Anglia.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) has launched a people-smuggling investigation after Border Force cutters intercepted the vessel off Great Yarmouth on Tuesday, after it had sailed from the Ostend area of Belgium.
